Fun Family Time!

The evening of December 24th Nate and I 

did a treasure hunt for presents that

Deborah set up in our house.

Nate is finding the next clue.

Now he found the presents. :)

It was a whole lot of fun. Thank you Debs!!

Everyone was really looking forward to the next morning.

After opening our presents on the 25th we went up to the W's to 

spend a wonderful day with them.

I made this little Pompom fox. The W's gave it 

to me. I really enjoyed making it.

A very generous gift from the W's...a water filter!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It did not take Nate long to get it installed.

Now we are enjoying very nice filtered water.

December life

The beginning of last week I took my driving test and passed!!!!!!!

I am now an official Texas driver. :)

Lots of beautiful rain and cold weather. :)

A cheesecake Debs and I made this is not finished yet.

We have some decorating to do. :)

add some color to them once the chocolate hardens.

Monday night while Nate, Micah and Andrew went 

to a fire training I went to the W's house and 

we had a really fun game of canasta. Elisha won, she 

is really good at it. 

I really had a fun evening with them.

I missed all of my decorating helpers from 

Devine, but enjoyed making them.

This morning Debs and I finished decorating the cheesecake for 

Christmas Day dinner.

Debs put the red strips on I put the green ones .

We melted white chocolate and colored it.

Very festive!!! I was really pleased with how they turned out.

I'm really looking froward to eating them. :)
