Misc.

Nathaniel was SO sweet to build me a shelf in the
laundry room for our tools.

Ready to paint and put it to use!!!!

It's so nice to move all of this stuff from the bottom of
our extra closet and have a place for it.

Going with Micah down the road to bring a truck
they are working on to the shop.

Stephen is pretty impressive riding a unicycle.

Here is the truck they are working on.

Looks like Deb's is ready to go somewhere. :)

I'm almost there!! 35 weeks along yesterday. We can safely have the
baby at home once I'm 37 weeks. About 2 - 5 weeks longer!

My midwife recently let me borrow these books. I have lots of reading to do!
I did not ever think I would really care to read these kind of books but I have
been really enjoying them now that I'm expecting myself. :)

Here is the co-sleeper Nathaniel made.
It's all ready except for a mattress and extra padding.

I was quite pleased with the
building Nate did and the stenciling job I did. :)

Sewing a maternity blouse to wear to my baby shower Saturday If I get
It finished.

Elisha's sewing machine was quite handy to use for some
decorative stitching I wanted to do on the blouse.
It was fun sewing at there house all afternoon.

Next post of my baby shower and a visit with the E's coming in a few days.

Memorial Day party

Monday afternoon the G family were so sweet to
invite us over for some fun indoor games and a delicious dinner.

Ping pong!

Foosball was lots of fun.

A few games of Uno.

One game of around the world ping pong before dinner.
It was really fun to watch everyone running around trying to hit the ball.

I had to steal pictures from Deb's camera since I left mine at home so this is all I have.

Day to day

Checking out a truck Micah is interested in.

Nathaniel is building me a co-sleeper to have
right by my bed for Shiskabibble.
.

Nate was so sweet to build it for me. He did such a wonderful job.

Screwing all the pieces together.

Here is the almost finished project.
I still want to paint it and we need to get a
cradle mattress for it.

We had Andrew over for dinner several times while the W's are
in CA. It was fun visiting with him.

A few things I have been doing...
I sewed this ironing board cover using my scrap fabric

I'm also working on knitting a blue baby blanket.
Depending on the gender I wanted to have a
specially made baby blanket for our baby so I made both colors.

Our new living room set up. We have really been enjoying our
new loveseat.

Lantana !!

The W's meat chickens all gathered around for food.

Ben's goats are so cute.
They remind me a lot of when I had a goat back in Devine.

I will end with this lovely wild flower.

Fire department extrication

The other day we were driving to a estate sale and drove into Oklahoma.
We passed our exit so we had to turn around and go back into Texas. :)

The red river is a very good name for this river.

Back into Texas!

More pictures of the fire truck the fire department is building.

Now for Saturday.

Hooking up the tractor to move this 2 wheel truck onto
the trailer to take it over to the fire station.

I thought it was so brilliant  how Nathaniel and Andrew loaded
it up without having to use the winch.

This tractor made unloading the cars a lot easier.

Back at the house to pick up the red Honda for the extrication.

While Nathaniel, Andrew and Pop's were loading up the Honda
they got a big downpour. I got into the truck just before it came.
Everyone had to go back to the house and change before going
back to the fire station because they were soaked.

Most of the firemen in their gear ready to learn about cutting into
vehicles. Quite a few people did not show up due to the weather so
they just cut up one car and will save the rest for another sunny day.

Kevin takes a turn at the jaws to open the door,

It was so neat to watch Nathaniel teach the other guys
how to use the jaws. He's a really good teacher.

This vehicle was donated from Joe's shop for the extrication.

Afterwards Kenny (the fire chief) took everyone out to eat at DQ for dinner.
Regretfully I did not get any pictures of it. :(

Sunday our church handed out to all the mother's a rose
to show their appreciation towards them.
I thought it was SO sweet of them to give me one.

This rose bush Mamma W bought me from the Tyler rose garden.

I think it's absolutely lovely.

That's all I have for now!
